Three new artists join the Guild.

This Fall, we are thrilled to welcome three new member-artists: Jeannie Podolak, Carrie Pill and Elaine Ittleman. Drop by the gallery to see work by these very creative Vermont women beginning November 9.

Printmaker Jeannie Podolak is based in North Chittenden. Inspired by the natural world, she takes an experimental approach to image-making, combining monotypes, etchings, collagraphs and drypoint processes to produce richly textured works that incorporate the accidental results of the printmaking process. Her work ranges from small 4″x4″ etchings to large-format 20″ x 30″ monotypes, priced from $175 – $1500.

Carrie Pill is an emerging painter from Rutland. Her images are drawn from real and remembered experiences of life in the Green Mountain State: mountain landscapes, animals and people. She works in a range of sizes, with canvasses priced from $25 – $1800.

Elaine Ittleman, our second new painter, hails from Charlotte. Elaine paints impressionistic, color-drenched landscapes inspired by both Vermont and her travels. Her medium-sized 36″ x 36″ oil canvasses are priced at $750.
