Call to Artists Spring 2019
Become an Exhibiting Member of the Brandon Artists Guild. Exhibit your work at the Guild gallery in downtown Brandon, participate in group and solo shows and join a vibrant creative community.
The Guild welcomes all flavors and styles of fine art and crafts. Jurying criteria include originality, impact, clarity, craftsmanship, consistency of style and quality, presentation, and marketability. The jury consists of Guild member-artists and non-artists with expertise and experience across all media.
New members are also asked to help staff the Guild gallery. It’s a great opportunity to meet other members, make creative connections and learn what makes a cooperative arts organization tick. This contribution is reflected in a reduction of the gallery commission to 20% or 30% depending on your monthly commitment (see the application below).
Application deadline is Saturday, February 23. Complete and submit the application form below by midnight on February 23. After initial review, selected candidates will be invited to present their work to the jury in-person on Saturday, March 9.
Membership requirements:
- Applicant must be a Vermont resident at least six months per year.
- All submissions must be original work, completed within the past two years. A small percentage of reproductions or limited editions may be included for consideration.
- Manufactured items, items assembled from commercial kits, made from commercially available plans or cast from pre-manufactured molds are not eligible. The Guild reserves the right to make a final determination of commercial status.

- Include five jpeg images with your application. Please name images using this format: artist first initial, last name, and title of work (i.e., NArtist_All In The Family).
- If you wish to exhibit work in more than one medium, please submit a separate application for each.
