Two new artists join the Guild

We’re pleased to announce the addition of two new Exhibiting Members at the Brandon Artists Guild.

Painter Carrie Ade is a world traveller who recently returned to her home state of Vermont after more than a decade living half way around the world. The daughter of an artist and a botanist, her family heritage is clearly reflected in her hyper-realist landscapes that capture native flora and fauna in dazzling detail. These satisfyingly dense, richly colored scenes are the result of careful observation, memory, and studies made on location. Not surprisingly, Carrie’s art has been collected worldwide.

Dan Brett combines his skills as a painter and woodworker to produce assemblages that achieve a uniquely playful serenity. Through his art, Dan invites us to put aside our daily demands, take a deep breath, and step into the special atmosphere created in each piece. Dan lives in Whiting with his wife, photographer Mirjam Brett, and family.

See these works, and more, at Guild Gallery, open Wednesday-Sat 10-5 and Sunday 10-4.
