Explore art! Open Studio Weekend Oct 5 + 6

From downtown studios to art sheds at the end of a dirt road, creatives across the state will open their workplaces to visitors over Open Studio Weekend on 10/5 &6. Come meet the drivers of our creative economy and see where it all begins – in the artist’s studio. You might see swatches being chosen for a quilt, discover experiments in new clay forms and glazes, dive deeper into an artists’s body of work, or commission a custom piece directly from the maker.

Join an annual Vermont art tradition. Pick up the Vermont Crafts Council’s Open Studio Map & Guide at the Guild gallery to find all the details on artists and locations in your area, then plan an art journey of your own.

Guild artists participating include:

Ashley Wolff, Wenda Curtis and Deborah Goodwin at the Guild Gallery, Brandon. See our artists at work! Ashley will be painting an autumn bouquet in the Gallery from 10:30a.m.-11:30a.m. on both days. On Saturday 10/5 Deborah will demonstrate hand-building in clay throughout the day and on Sunday 10/6 Wenda will be crafting hand-hammered jewelry in copper jewelry during gallery hours – 10am – 4pm.
