My landscape paintings present vibrant realism with a little twist. As I paint I often “bend” the image to give it additional depth and movement. Viewers often ask if that “is how I see things” and I say “no, it is how I would like to see things.” I’ve found that the intense color saturation and fine detail in each image resonates with many collectors.
A long-time self-taught artist, I began painting in earnest in 2011 while spending the winter with my aging father. I now paint full-time from my North Bennington studio.
