Colored pencil is a simple and beautiful medium we all drew with as children. It’s my favorite medium to catch the intimate connection between animals and people or the nuances of animal-to-animal interactions. There’s something so graceful in the shape of the creatures that surround us every day. I love the curve of a horse’s haunch, the humor of a curious heifer, and the restful, deep color of flower beds and fields.
