Would you like to be one of us?

Our cooperative fine art and craft gallery is filled with wonderful makers who work as a team to create a warm and beautiful place to exhibit and sell.

Juries are held in the Spring and Fall.

Your application will be held until the next jury.

Exhibit your work at the Guild gallery in downtown Brandon, participate in group and solo shows, and join a vibrant creative community!

The Guild welcomes all flavors and styles of fine art and crafts. Jurying criteria include originality, impact, clarity, craftsmanship, consistency of style and quality, presentation, and marketability. The jury consists of both exhibiting and supporting members of the Guild with expertise and experience across all media.

Because we are a member-run organization, new working members must help to staff the gallery. It’s a great opportunity to meet other members, make creative connections, and learn what makes a cooperative arts organization tick. In exchange for their committed work assignments, the commission rate for working artists is only 20%.

We also accept a small number of non-working artists at a commission of 50%.

Membership requirements:

  • Applicant must be a Vermont resident at least six months per year.

  • All submissions must be original works. A small percentage of reproductions or limited editions may be included for consideration. Work should have been completed within the last two years.

  • Manufactured items, items assembled from commercial kits, made from commercially available plans, or cast from pre-manufactured molds are not eligible. The Brandon Artists Guild reserves the right to make a final determination of commercial status.
