I have always been enthralled with making things that I could imagine, with figuring out how to use tools and materials masterfully to create three dimensional images and objects. In my early teens I began carving wood and stone and discovered my passion for exploring the visual/tactile interplay of form & space, light & shadow, color & texture. My life-long engagement in this dialogue, seeking how to best choreograph these elements in time and space has been and continues to be a soul fulfilling practice. The results are the realization of my imaginings, the three-dimensional pieces that I am honored to have the opportunity to share with others these last 65 years.
