We welcome applications in all media and are especially interested in potters, goldsmith jewelers, photographers, and kinetic artists.
Membership Fee & Sales Commission
Exhibiting membership has an annual fee of $300. Artists receive 60% of the retail price of work sold through the gallery; the remaining 40% supports the Guild. This arrangement requires a minimum level of participation in supporting the Guild through activities that match each artist’s skills and interests.

As a member-run cooperative, the Guild thrives through the participation of its artists. Members contribute through events, committees, and other activities that match their skills and interests.
How does the application process work?
Submit your application by Sunday, March 7, 2027 at midnight. The jury panel will review all applications and invite selected applicants to bring their work to an in-person jury appointment on Saturday, March 27, 2027.
Applicants must be available to attend an in-person appointment on March 27 to be considered for this jury cycle. If your application is selected to move forward, we will contact you to schedule your appointment.
At the in-person appointment, you will be expected to present your work as it would be displayed for sale in the gallery. For example, work intended to hang on a wall should be framed or otherwise finished and ready to hang, with appropriate hanging hardware attached. Jewelry and other three-dimensional work should be presented with suitable stands, holders, or other display materials. Your presentation is part of the jury’s evaluation.
An invitation to an in-person appointment is the next step in the jury process and does not guarantee acceptance into the Guild.
What does the jury look for?
Jurying criteria include originality, impact, clarity, craftsmanship, consistency of style and quality, presentation, and marketability. The jury panel consists of both exhibiting and supporting members of the Guild with expertise and experience across all media.
Who can apply?
Applicants must be Vermont residents for at least six months of the year.
All submissions must be original works and representative of the work the artist intends to exhibit and sell at the Guild. A small percentage of reproductions or limited editions may be included for consideration. Work should have been completed within the last two years.
Manufactured items, items assembled from commercial kits, items made from commercially available plans, or items cast from pre-manufactured molds are not eligible. The Brandon Artists Guild reserves the right to make a final determination of commercial status.
