I have always loved making things. I love the challenges, the process, the problem solving involved in making an artwork. My career choice of architecture definitely stemmed in part from this- and all the while, I continued to paint, draw, make sculpture and take photographs.
Portraiture, very broadly defined, is my main subject matter. Whether it be people or animals, individual trees and plants, or simply ‘snap shots’ of images of my daily environment, something along the way catches my attention and has me in turn wanting to make a representation of that person or thing.
