Our Positive Impact

"We used the money this year to buy two of these chop saws that allow students to safely cut cardboard.  Students love building with cardboard but are always struggling with it at the same time. Either asking for help, "Mr. B! Will you cut this for me?", or asking for a craft knife and then struggling with that tool, especially if their work is with cardboard on a larger scale.

It's also not the kind of thing that I could realistically buy with the normal art budget because they are fairly expensive.

So... THANKS!."

~ John Brodowski, Neshobe School Art Teacher

"The Brandon Artists Guild has been an invaluable partner in arts education for our local students. Through the Guild's annual Student Art Show, students have the opportunity to see their artwork professionally displayed in a month-long exhibition and celebrated at a reception held in their honor. The Guild also helps fund supplies, equipment, and inspiring experiences such a visit to Mass MoCA, expanding what's possible in the classroom and encouraging students to think bigger about their own creative potential. Their support has helped countless young artists see themselves—and their future possibilities—in a whole new way."

The artwork consists of various vibrant paintings and drawings, including a yellow sunflower with black details, a robot, a horse, and other abstract compositions. There are balls of yarn, a sock, and knitting tools on the table, and the scene appears to be outside a shop window labeled 'Artists Guild.' Reflection of a person taking the photo and street view can be seen in the window.
