Dasha Kalisz
Dasha Kalisz received her B.A. from Burlington College and her M.F.A. from Maine College of Art and Design in studio arts. Kalisz has been making both functional and sculptural art for more than ten years. Her method of making includes working on the potter’s wheel and hand building pieces, sometimes infusing the two methods.
Dasha Kalisz participated in a residency in Tuscany, Italy at La Meridiana International School for Ceramics. Kalisz has also juried into group exhibitions at the Paper and Clay Show in Lagan, Utah, The Clay Studio National in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and the Emotional Value Auction in Topsham, Maine. She currently lives in Leicester, Vermont, where she operates out of her home studio. Dasha is a public art teacher at Otter Valley and teaches occasionally at Middlebury Studio School.
