Susan R. Wacker-Donle
Vermont resident Susan R. Wacker-Donle honed her creative skills in the New York Design scene. Upon graduating from Pratt Institute with a Bachelor of Fine Arts / Communication Graphic Design, Ms. Wacker-Donle pursued a successful career as a professional Art Director and Package Designer for the fashion and beauty industry becoming Senior Design Director for Fragrance at Elizabeth Arden. She is known best for the creation of award-winning fragrance packaging for celebrities such as Elizabeth Taylor and fashion designers Karl Lagerfeld, Nino Cerruti, Jean-Louis Scherrer, Valentino and The House of Fendi.
Her images bring together a strong graphic esthetic, an eye for detail and lighting, always in pursuit of all things beautiful.
“I have had a love affair with glass beginning with the study, collection and creation of perfume bottles for fragrance brands including White Diamonds, Sun Moon Stars, Nuits Indiennes, as well as Bond No.9. Glass fusing is another expression of that love and passion.”
Susan has been a resident of Pittsfield Vermont for the past 25 years. She currently sits on the board as webmaster for the Greater Killington Women’s Club and a board member at large and artist member for the Chaffee Arts Center in Rutland Vermont. Other memberships include The Rutland Mint Glass Guild, Southern Vermont Art Center and the Hui No’eau Visual Arts Center, Maui, where she will be teaching glass fusing this summer.
